During the Innovation Exchange 15 companies will have the opportunity to present to some 200 targeted international corporate and global investors.

Previous delegates include Google, Microsoft, HP, Sony Ericsson, SAP, IBM, Hutchison Whampoa's 3, Partech International, Mangrove Capital Partners and Early Bird Venture Capital.

The Innovation Exchange is inviting European and Israeli technology start-up and growth companies across all stages of development and five specific technology sectors to apply for one of the 15 presentation spots at the event.

Why should I apply?

For selected companies this is a unique opportunity to present to a large audience of high quality investors, leading technology corporates and service providers like corporate finance firms.

The Innovation Xchange 2010 will be covered by leading international and technology press, offering phenomenal opportunities for visibility and recognition.

How does it work?

The European Tech Tour has set up a selection committee to ensure the independence of the Innovation Exchange company selection process. It is composed of leading business people, coming from relevant backgrounds and covering various trades, such as venture capital, technology industry, research and the specialised press. The committee will select the best and brightest companies from each stream to present at the Innovation Exchange 2010.

There are no fees associated with participation for the companies selected to present although companies are expected to meet the cost of their own travel and expenses.

Can I still come if I'm not selected?

Only 15 companies will be selected to present at the Innovation Xchange 2010. We are looking for the best in Europe so their will be tough competition!

What is the company registration process and how is the selection done?
a. Companies interested to be considered to present at the 2010 Innovation Xchange should register here by filling out a company profile no later than deadline of August 1, 2010
b. The selection process will be conducted the weeks following the application deadline by members of the Selection Committee, who represent the spectrum of the technology industry (VCs, corporations & incubators.)
c. The selection is based on a transparent and objective process of ranking the candidate companies and selecting 15+ companies that will present at the event.

Who is coming to the 2010 Innovation Xchange to listen to your company presentation?
The delegates are top ranking global and local investors, corporations and advisors to the high-tech world.

Do I need to pay to present at the 2010 Innovation Xchange?
No, registration and submitting your companies' profile is free and if your company is one of the 15 companies selected, your presentation and attendance is free of charge.

Who should present?
The CEO and/or another executive of the company should present.

What's in it for the presentating company?
a. Highly effective opportunity to meet with and present to a concentrated group of privately invited key players representing global leading firms.

How much time does it take to do my company presentation?
Presentation: 15 minutes
Questions and Answers: 5 minutes

Where will the presentations be held?
October 14, Denmark, Copenhagen.

What should the company presentation look like?
To make your presentation attractive and sharp, we will supply you with a company presentation format and coaching will be provided. If you would need further assistance or advice we will help you prepare your presentation.

Why should I submit my financials?
In order to have a complete transparent view of your company and to review and evaluate your companies' performance, we need to have a complete company presentation including your financials. However, we can assure you that all the information you provide will be handled with extreme confidence. Only the Selection Committee Members listed on the 1st page will have access to your data. It is not possible to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for each particular application, but the European Tech Tour Association can assure you that all Selection Committee Members are professionals with a solid reputation and vast experience in handling confirmation information. Remember that hundreds of European tech companies during the past 42 Tech Tours and vertical events application process have already submitted their financials before you did.

We are looking for funding. Why is the Innovation Xchange interesting for me/us?
A large part of the audience for your presentation is looking for investment opportunities. Local VC's with whom you have been talking for months or have rejected funding you company may suddenly start moving once they notice strong interest from international VC's. You will have the opportunity to not only present your company but also to personally talk at leisure with investors after or before your presentation as well as learn how to position your company, to make it more attractive for investors or make them eager to invest in your company.

We are not looking for funding. Is the Innovation Xchange still interesting for me/us?
Yes, you will get the opportunity to meet and build relationships with top-ranking VC's, intermediaries, corporations, lawyers, and professional associates. If this audience is impressed by your company, they will spread the word about your company throughout Europe and the rest of the world, which may lead to partnerships, clients, talent, M&A opportunities or future rounds of financing for your company. In addition, there will be a lot of local and international media exposure.

On what basis are the 15 companies selected?
Among the criterias are:
a. Uniqueness of technology, a solid business model, vision and the capability to execute the plan.
b. Targeting relevant markets.
c. Quality of management team and track record.

When will I hear if I am selected to present my company?
The Selection Committee will let you know if your company will be invited to present by mid September 2010.

What are the chances for my company to be selected?
That depends totally on the quality and uniqueness of your company and of the quality of the registered companies. We are looking for the best of Europe - as this will be the "Cannes" of the years events.

My company is not active in the industry segments mentioned, can I still apply?
Yes! As long as your company has developed some form of unique ICT technology, we are eager to look at your company. We are NOT interested in pure IT consultancy or services companies.
