Overview

The French Tech Tour 2005

For its 21st edition, the Tech Tour visited France for a 2nd time and showcased its rich culture of technology and innovation. The French Tech Tour highlighted this enormous potential and depth during its unique two-day tour across the country.

Participation was limited to 70 privately invited international professionals featuring a broad spectrum of senior representatives from VC funds, leading corporations and institutional investors. The French Tech Tour met a double agenda, first to showcase 31 of France's most promising technology companies for potential investment or partnership and for you to extend your local network in France. Secondly, to promote France's recent decision to accelerate innovation, research and economic growth by investing in nationwide competitiveness clusters.

Furthermore, the agenda included interactions and meetings with a range of key figures from various disciplines – venture capital, corporate, entrepreneurs and academia.

Objectives

To identify the upcoming and leading top 25+ high-growth privately held technology companies in France and to introduce them to key European, US and Asian investors and professionals who can assist in their global expansion.

For delegates, the Tech Tour is a unique platform to gain first-hand knowledge of a selection of France's most advanced and innovative high-technology companies looking to expand globally.

For presenting companies, the Tech Tour presents a unique platform to introduce their companies to a group of 60+ high level professionals and executives.
